The following post is from our kid's craft contributor EJ:
We've been into puzzles lately, so I thought it'd be fun to make one to go along with our Camp Mom "Olympic Opening Ceremonies" theme.
Materials Needed:
- Felt (Blue, Yellow, Black, Green, Red (for rings) and a color of your choice for the background)
- Thread
- Sewing Machine
- Scissors
[You can find a full tutorial on how to make a felt jigsaw puzzle over at Vanilla Joy. Below are instructions on how I modified it to go along with our theme.]
Cut rings of same size out of blue, yellow, black, green and red felt. Arrange rings on piece of background felt and pin in place. Sew to secure in place.
Draw lines on reverse size of puzzle and cut. I cut this puzzle into 12 pieces, but wish I would have made the pieces larger (we only used 8 of the 12 to make it easier). Edge stitch around each piece and you're done!
