Camp Sunny Patch: Name Bugs!

Bugs are an obsession for my kids right now so we are learning about them all week long!

As a Camp Sunny Patch Honor Counselor I was invited to try out Allie's Cork Bug Creations from Camp Sunny Patch's Session 4 and share my own version with you! You can download the printable instructions here to make Allie's cork bugs.

We made some name bugs inspired by Allie's Cork Bug creations.
You can catch our whole activity here over on Melissa and Doug's blog today!

I had so much fun trying out this activity and have loved participating as a Camp Sunny Patch Honor Counselor. If you haven't signed up to participate in Camp Sunny Patch yet, you can check out what's already been shared by going to the Camp Sunny Patch guide or head here to sign up for email updates. The Melissa & Doug Blog also has loads of information and great activities.

If you're looking for any other bug themed posts, here are a few of our Toddler Approved favorites that we'll be sharing this week during Bug Camp!

What are other bug crafts and activities that you've tried?

Disclosure: Melissa & Doug will be compensating me for my participation as an Honor Counselor at Camp Sunny Patch. All posts reflect my personal opinion and endorsement and are not swayed by compensation and/or free products. Please note that this post reflects my opinion and preferences and you might not share that same opinion.

  1. These are so cute! Little Alphabet bugs will be our next project this summer to practice some of those sight words we need some help one, who wouldn't want to play with alphabet bugs! Thanks for sharing. I'm loving Camp Sunny Patch!

  2. This is such a cute upcycled craft! I love that you would then see how many word you could build with those letters.
