100 Acts of Kindness: Rainbow Painting Surprise {Via Glittering Muffins}

We are spreading kindness this month through our 100 Acts of Kindness project. We are challenging our readers to perform 100 acts of kindness between Jan 16th and Feb 14th. You can read more about our kindness challenge here. Many of our blogging friends have joined the challenge and will be sharing ways that you can spread kindness here and on their blogs.

Valerie from Glittering Muffins is our guest today. She is sharing a simple activity that she did with her two year old son to help spread kindness. In addition to loving how he wanted to share his project with his favorite people, I also loved the joy that he experienced in the creation of his rainbow gift. Head on over to Glittering Muffins to read more about their...

While you are over there, check out some of Valerie's other recent posts like her Valentine's Day Glitter Globe and her Operation Intentional Kindness updates. Not only is Valerie a new blogger (of only a few weeks), but she is also lucky to have her handy husband Alex blogging with her. Glittering Muffins is a blog filled with crafts and activities... and glitter and muffins... that also helps readers create using their imaginations and objects they already have around their house.

Who would your child make a rainbow surprise for?
I will need to dig around and find a big paintbrush tomorrow to try this!

Thanks Valerie for sharing with us today!

Stayed tuned for a guest post by my friend over at Kitchen Counter Chronicles tomorrow.

By the way, we have been having such a blast creating thank you cards and jars of hearts. Check out some of the pictures I snapped this week!
On Monday we made Thank You cards. The toddler got to use the dot markers for the first time and loved it! She only tried to eat them once or twice.

Today we made a Jar of Hearts for my husband who was home sick. We created cards using dixie cup foam sticker stamps that we created. They are perfect because they give little fingers something to grab.

Feel free to share photos on our Facebook page if you are doing Kindness Challenge #1!... or if you have tried any of the other projects!
