12 Easy Dr. Seuss Activities for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Dr. Seuss has a birthday on March 2nd! We always love to celebrate his birthday each year and read a few of our favorite Dr. Seuss Books and do some themed activities!

Dr. Seuss has mostly silly books that often have rhyming words and phrases that are fun for little kids to read. Some books are longer than others, so we mostly like to read the shorter Dr. Seuss books with toddlers or find the shortened board book versions to read together.

Our favorite Dr. Seuss books include Hop on Pop, The Foot Book, Wacky Wednesday, Fox in Socks, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. We also love Mr. Brown Can Moo for toddlers!

We also usually read the classic Dr. Seuss books, like Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham... but those aren't the most popular ones at our house!

If you want to have a fun time celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday this week, here are a few of our favorite themed activities to try...
