Christmas cookies are our favorite part of Christmas! We love making candy cane cookies and snowman cookies and decorating sugar cookies too!
We also love to use our cookie cookies for playing in cloud dough and make Christmas playdough shapes.
Today for Day 8 of our 23 Days of Christmas activities series, we're making simple Christmas cookie cutter puzzles inspired by our toy puzzles we've shared in the past.
M A T E R I A L S N E E D E D :
- colored cardstock
- markers
- cookie cutters
- painters tape
- pencil
D I R E C T I O N S :
Draw an outline of each cookie cutter on a piece of paper. We did 2 outlines on some and 1 outline on others.
Once an outline is drawn in pencil, go over it with a marker.
Next, tape each paper onto the floor or a table to secure them in place and then grab your cookie cutters. You are ready to start matching!
It is fun to watch the kids twist and turn the cookie cutters to get them to fit perfectly!
My favorite sort of activities involve very little clean-up and very little se-tup. This activity fits the bill!
