End the Power Struggle {Free Webinar}

My laundry pile is huge, kids rooms are littered with toys, and I am exhausted because the baby recently decided to stop sleeping at night.

Our schedules are a bit out of whack too and I've been letting kids stay up late to watch the Olympics or have fun with friends.

I love having my kids home during the summer because we don't have a strict schedule, but with the schedule gone and everyone more tired than normal, we are getting into more power struggles. Cleaning rooms, practicing piano, and even eating dinner has turned into a battle. Not to mention picking what to wear for the day. I can't even imagine how things will look when school starts next week.

I hate when people tell me what to do, what to wear, and what to eat, so I get it. But sometimes I want the kids to wear something other than basketball shorts and eat more than just bread or mac n cheese for dinner.

Power Struggles are something every family can relate to. Whether it’s about eating, dressing, doing chores, or simply following rules, almost every parent-child conflict has at least one stubborn foot rooted in power struggles.

This week I’m excited to be partnering with a friend of mine, child development educator Amanda Morgan of Not Just Cute, to bring you a live webinar, sharing tools and perspectives for turning power struggles into a win-win situation for both you and your kids.

Amanda is the mom that I wish I could go out to lunch with once a week and have her solve all of my parenting problems. Amanda has four boys AND a master’s degree in child development, so she creates resources that are both useful and relatable. She's also great at breaking down best practices from the professional/academic world and making them easy to understand and apply.

I'm really excited for a morning to just let my kids watch TV or do some mess-free crafts next to me (or both) while I tune in to Amanda's webinar and get some tips to get our family life a bit more under control... and zap the power struggles.

Signing up for the webinar is easy, just CLICK HERE and you’re ready to go. If you can’t make it to the set time, no worries. The replay will be sent your way.

All you need is a computer, tablet, or phone in order to participate in the webinar. Amanda will even have a little time for a Q&A session after the webinar if you have any specific questions.

DATE: Wednesday, August 10th

START TIME: 10:30am (PST)

The webinar will last one hour and will be filled with useful tips that you can go and apply right away and the Q&A will follow the webinar, so budget between 60-90 minutes.

Come stop by our Toddler Approved Positive Parenting Zone this week to chat with Amanda as well. She'll be sharing some parenting tips! Can't wait!
