We've been slacking on our 5-A-Day Books posts... but we are back! This week is going be transportation related to go along with our "Things that Go" Camp Mom theme. We're reading...
Cars and Trucks and Things that Go by Richard Scarry (a page or two every day... sometimes there is too much to look at, so we don't make it through the whole book... but we've read it 20 times already!)
Goldbug is our favorite in this book... and Officer Flossie. The characters are just adorable.
Go Dogs Go by P.D. Eastman
This one is a favorite practically every night at our house already. I love all the concepts it teaches as well- up, down, night, day, over, under, etc.
Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus by Mo Willems
We may have done this one before for 5-a-day books... but we love it. I especially love silently screaming, "LET ME DRIVE THE BUS!" since we have to be quiet because the baby is in the room next door.
The Wheels on the Bus by David Ellwand
The music can play while you read along. My son loves taking this into his room for "quiet time" and reading it all by himself because he can actually read along.
That's Not My Train by Fiona Watt
This one is for the baby... but the little guy will like reading it too. I love these Usborne books because our baby girl loves to touch and feel them... and chew them 🙂 They all look so cute too.
