Sponge Tower Time

When you're making tons of sponge balls... you end up with a lot of these.

(cut sponges in fourths or thirds)

And before you make them into balls... you first need to make sponge towers! Line them up, sort them, and then stack them!

You can even have your favorite action figures join in.

My son and husband had so much fun playing late into the evening...

They are addicting. I found myself still stacking sponges after my little guy went to bed.

My son would argue that knocking them down is a little more awesome than building the towers... and throwing the sponge pieces is also oodles of fun too.

You've definitely gotta try it.

If you're wanting to do something more structured... you can even use the sponges to practice making patterns or create letters or other shapes.

There is too much fun to be had with sponge strips! I won't even get into the fun that could be had while using paint with sponge strips...

After all... these ones are bound for a life of excitement getting dunked and thrown in water as sponge balls! :)

I think I need to go buy more sponges tomorrow so that we can keep a separate stash just for stacking. What are your favorite activities to do with sponges?
