To track our 100 Acts of Kindness I thought we'd make some "heart strings" (in other words, string some ribbon through felt hearts). I cut out 100 felt hearts and made two small parallel cuts in the middle of them (just big enough for a piece of ribbon to slide through).
Every night at dinner we talk about what type of service or kindness we gave that day, and add more hearts to our string based on the amount of kind acts performed that day. I'm excited to see our "heart strings" grow.
I love this so much.. we are so joining in on this....
ReplyDeleteso so sweet... and the probably the best Valentine decor ever.
I love this idea. It is so versatile for throughout the year (ie - Eggs at Easter), easy to make, cheap, AND promotes positive behavior. Great thinking!
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous - what a great idea! I can't wait to make these with my daughter, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI am always looking for ways to encourage positive behaviour with our 4 year old daughter who has some behavioural issues. She is starting to expect treats so something simple like this hopefully will give a little reward without the expectations of a prize. thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI plan on doing this! Thanks for such a sweet activity to do with my kids!
