Leaf Sponge Stamping

This was another simple leaf activity we did today that only involved a few supplies.

Materials needed:
sponges (buy leaf shaped ones or just cut some up some household sponges), paint, paper plate for the paint, and white (or colored paper).

1. Pick your paint colors and put them on a paper plate.

2. Start loading up the sponges with the paint.

3. Stamp away!

We loved talking about all the different colors we created and shapes we saw as we stamped. We also talked about textures.

This activity would be perfect to help you create some fall themed wrapping paper. Another day we'll also draw a tree and then do some stamping around the branches to make a big colorful Fall picture.

There are so many fun things you can do with these cute leaf sponges.
